The Col Solare design team from architecture firm Boxwood pulled together a synergistic confluence of elements to design a winery and vineyard site that conceptually reflected the distinctive partnership.

The architecture design team conceived a winery that, from the air, would appear like a graphic image of the sun, with paths that cut through the vineyard like the sun's rays through the canopy to the grapes.

The winery was built in three conceptual parts: a traditional chai as the foundation rooted in the history of the old world; a stunning reception pavilion conceived in new world design; and the cellar with its bell tower representing the juncture of the old and new worlds.
