As Resident Winemaker, Marcus oversees the winemaking operations at Col Solare under the guidance of consultant winemakers Renzo Cotarella and Doug Gore.

Since he joined Ste. Michelle in 1995, Marcus' career has focused on red wine programs, specifically small lot winemaking. He developed a strong rapport with the Antinori vineyard and winemaking teams during his travels to Italy, fostering an international perspective that brings the partners' winemaking philosophies together in Col Solare.
