Shining Hill is crafted from premium grape lots, sourced from our top vineyard sites throughout the Columbia Valley, which have been declassified from the blend for Col Solare in order to maintain consistency of taste and style in that wine. Although these lots are not used for Col Solare, they have been deemed by our winemaker to be of exceptional quality for making a wine requiring less aging time in barrel and bottle than the Col Solare blend.
Shining Hill will offer maximum enjoyment without years of aging - a unique preview of the vintage and the characteristics that will be found in the next vintage of our flagship wine.
