Rich Wheeler (standing), Vice President of Vineyards at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, oversees viticulture, grape contracting, and purchasing. Wheeler started in 1979 as an irrigations specialist after working at Cold Creek Vineyard. He serves on a number of industry boards, including the Washington Wine Industry Foundation.

Kevin Corliss,(right) Director of Viticulture for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, manages the vineyards designated for Col Solare. He is active on several industry boards and led the effort to establish the Horse Heaven Hills AVA. Corliss was named the 2006 recipient of the Walter Clore Award, which recognizes individuals who serve and make significant contributions to the Washington State grape industry.
